 Mount Fuji Visibility in December 2025 Winter Returns
=======================================================

December returns to peak Mt. Fuji viewing territory. Cold, dry continental air dominates Kanto, humidity drops, and the snow cap continues to rebuild from the autumn lows. Mornings are consistently clear, and even into the afternoon the mountain often remains visible against deep blue skies.

Year-end is also when the Diamond Fuji phenomenon, with the sun setting directly over the summit from certain viewpoints, becomes possible around Lake Yamanakako and the south shore of Lake Tanukiko, drawing photographers from across Japan.
