About this view --------------- This camera streams in 4K from Fuji City, the industrial city between the mountain's southern base and Suruga Bay, about 23 km from the summit, and is operated by the national news agency Kyodo News. It shows the full southern face of the mountain, the same broad, symmetrical profile that Shinkansen passengers crane for between Mishima and Shizuoka, with the Hoei Crater notch visible on the right side of the cone. The 4K resolution makes this one of the best feeds for detail: on clear days you can follow the snow line precisely and watch cloud form and dissolve on individual ridges.
